Artisan Fine Silver genuine blue chalcedony with unique Mt. Mount Rainier design in white bronze andSterling Earwires Drop Dangle Earrings

These earrings took several steps to make. First, I hand-carved the little Mt Rainier scene with some pines from white bronze metal clay. This is a clay that when fired, burns off the binder to leave pure metal. After firing the pieces in my kiln, filed and finished them, added a loop at the top, and suspended them from some gorgeous natural blue chalcedony.
The silver dangles are uneven and thick, and just so cool - not too heavy.
The earrings were then oxidized, or antiqued, to bring out the natural color of the metals and add depth. I have suspended them from simple Sterling Silver earwires (ear hooks). They have an easily maintained matte brushed oxidized finish.
About 1.75" long in total, and .5" wide. All Metal except the white bronze dangles is sterling silver.
This pair of earrings is one of a kind, completely handmade.
Please note, my pieces are not meant to be perfect or uniform. What you see here is what you get (or very close), and the "imperfections" are considered to be part of my rustic, freestyle technique. They will, however, be made with much care and attention for durability and unique design.
