Artisan Sterling Silver and Copper Swing Locket - "When it Rains, Look for Rainbows" Antiqued Gift Necklace Pendant Metalsmith Mixed Metal

I began with 2 discs - one solid sterling and one solid copper. I also sawed a cloud out of sterling silver, including a little heart cutout. I soldered that and three 3-D raindrops to the copper.
For the second part, I fashioned a rainbow from Copper, Silver, and Brass, and soldered them to the sterling silver disc. I then hammered it for texture.
After, I took a sterling silver bezel wire and fashioned a border around the sterling rainbow piece. I then added a sunburst stamp at the bottom of the rainbow ends, and a decorative sun.
Finally, I stamped the phrase "When it Rains" on the front and "Look for Rainbows" on the inside. The locket easily swings open and shut, but lays shut on the wearer, only to be opened to reveal its secret as the wearer chooses.
As this piece was completely ad hoc by hand, it is one of a kind!
The pendant itself is about 1". The chain is currently about 17" but you may ask for any chain length up to 24" from the menu. The chain is sterling silver.
The entire piece has been oxidized and burnished to reveal the depths and sheen of the metals.
