Artisan Sterling Silver Ocean Jasper Necklace, Hand Forged with Center Hook Closure, Flowers, Floral, Unusual Art Statement Necklace

When I saw this beautiful cabochon of Ocean Jasper, in my mind I imagined a hill of blossoms. So, I set it in scalloped sterling silver, and hand-stamped a variety of flowers as if growing out of the top of the stone. I formed the top bail, and wrapped it with decorative sterling silver thread. On the reverse side, I hand-sawed a single flower.
Decorating the chain is more variegated Ocean Jasper spheres. The closure are two hand-forged hooks that slip over the bail of the pendant. Super easy to put on and off, but still quite secure. My favorite!
Very classy... And certainly will gather comments and compliments. Perfect gift - have something no one else will! An Art jewelry piece that is also quite wearable and made to last for generations. The combination of stones and metals here is very powerful.
