Find Your Fire - Rustic Fine Silver Fire or Campfire Pendant, Camp Fire, hand carved, Metal Clay, Red Pearls and Recycled Silver

This pendant took several steps to make. First, I hand-carved the detailed campfire from PMC (Precious Metal Clay). This is a clay that when fired, burns off the binder to leave pure silver. After firing in my kiln, I drilled the top hole and files and finished the original design.
I have handmade chain, delicate yet strong, including beautiful, shining freshwater deep red pearls. The pendant and chain are both oxidized, or antiqued, to bring out the natural color of the silver and add depth. The pendant is surprisingly lightweight for the size - I did that intentionally so it would be comfortable to wear.
The pendant itself is about 1.5" in diameter. The chain is a solid sterling silver cable. The clasp is sterling lobster style.
Please note, my pieces are not meant to be perfect or uniform. What you see here is what you get, and the "imperfections" are considered to be part of my rustic, freestyle technique. They will, however, be made with much care and attention for durability and unique design.
