Artisan Original Tiny Watercolor Painting Sterling Silver & Glass, But First Coffee Statement Necklace

This piece started as a tiny drawing, then to an original watercolor painting of a tiny coffee cup, with so many details... steam, dots on a yellow cup with a heart on the red band. A few stray coffee beans lay to the right. The background is done in blues. After the painting dried, I then covered it in gesso (to make it waterproof and durable), and made a custom pendant frame out of solid sterling silver. I placed the painting in the pendant, then covered it with a thick piece of glass... the perfect wearable art! The outside of the bezel (the part that goes around the little painting) has been stamped with coffee beans! So many little touches of originality. The silver has been oxidized and antiqued, and the work is quite rustic. You will see (intentional) solder lines, uneven design, and yet, it fits together with strength and dignity. The handmade pendant has this stamped on the reverse:
"...but first... COFFEE"
I hand-forged the light sterling chain, and included solid sterling silver coffee beans on each end near the front toggle of a large heart. There is also a chocolate colored hand-blown glass bead with light blue dots on each side. It is incredibly strong, yet still feminine. This piece is an original, one of kind, and will never be duplicated. Over 20 hours of work has been installed into this piece, from original sketch, to painting, to finishing, to forging the silver.

The pendant itself is just about 1" round - plus the height of the hand-forged unique bail. The length is approx 16" and it has a large heart sterling toggle closure in the front. All metal is antiqued (oxidized) solid and hand-forged sterling silver.
This piece is an original painting and hand-forged frame. There will never be another exactly like it! Incredible gift item.
